I don’t know about you, but now is the time of year in which I am absolutely in need of a treat. When wrapping paper stockpiles and online shopping transactions reach their annual high, my body simply craves a little sweetness, typically in the form of a baked good. Something about the aroma of butter and chocolate slowly melting together whisks me away from the frenetic holidaze and sends me right back home, even when many of my friends and family are 926 miles away.
